Inspired by the Dogma 95 manifesto and the "anyone can make a movie" philosophy of Robert Rodriguez,  Robbing Peter is an award-winning dark comedy that looks at our relationship with crime through the lens of three separate stories following an illegal shipment across the Mexican border.

When I broke into filmmaking, new digital technologies made the tools of the craft much more accessible than for previous generations. Shot with the first digital camera that could use prime lenses and capture a "film" look, it was edited on Apple's first release of Final Cut Pro. Seen in film festivals across the country and around the world, including France, Israel, and Mexico, Robbing Peter was nominated for four Independent Spirit Awards, including the John Cassavetes Award for best feature produced under $500,000. It was acquired for distribution by Netflix.
