As Discovery entered the digital media market, they needed a brand that would connect with the millennial audience. In creating Seeker, we found a natural crossover between this new generation and the core DNA on which Discovery was founded.

Filmmakers were dispatched around the world, seeking stories shining light on issues of culture, science, and technology. Internal production teams created a daily mix of web documentaries, hosted content, and virtual reality experiences, always asking provocative questions about the universe we live in.

Seeker views have grown to over one billion across multiple digital platforms while receiving an Emmy nomination and winning Webby Awards. And recently, with a $100 million investment from Discovery, Seeker merged with Thrillist, NowThisNews, and The Dodo to form the spin-off company Group 9.
